What this page is
AKION Producer is a web service that lets each customer turn their own videos into short captioned clips and publish them to their own social media accounts. This page explains how you can delete the data we hold for you. It satisfies Meta's "Data Deletion Instructions URL" requirement (for our Meta app, App ID 3945986972361357) and TikTok's and Google's requirement that people be told how to request deletion of their data. What data we hold for you
Each customer has their own isolated workspace. For your workspace we may hold:
- Account data: your workspace login (username and password), and — if you joined the waitlist — your email address.
- Your content: the videos you upload, the transcripts and captions generated from them, cover images, and the copy (titles, descriptions, hashtags) prepared for publishing.
- Connected-platform tokens: when you connect your own YouTube (Google), Facebook/Instagram (Meta) or TikTok account, we store that account's access and refresh tokens on our server, tied to your workspace, and the basic account info (name, avatar) we show in the interface. We use these tokens only to publish your clips to your own accounts when you tell us to.
We never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and no one at AKION reads your platform data unless you explicitly ask us to (for example, in a support request).
How to delete your data
Option 1 — remove a single connected account (instant, self-service)
Sign in to AKION Producer, open Connections, and click Disconnect next to the platform. Its tokens are deleted immediately, and any data tied to that authorization is deleted within 7 days.
Option 2 — delete your whole workspace and everything in it
Email kimon.ioannides@gmail.com from your account, subject line "Data Deletion Request", and tell us who you are and which workspace. We will delete your account, your content, and all associated data — including every Facebook/Instagram, TikTok and YouTube token and any account information tied to your workspace. This is free of charge and available to every user, in any region, at any time. You do not need any other account to send the request — a plain email is enough.
Revoking access from the platform's side
You can also remove AKION Producer's access directly from each platform, which stops any further data exchange:
- Facebook / Instagram: Settings → Security and Login / Business Integrations → remove AKION Producer. Meta will also notify us via our Data Deletion callback so we delete the tokens on our side.
- TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions → remove AKION Producer.
- Google / YouTube: myaccount.google.com/permissions → remove AKION Producer. We delete the associated data within 30 days of revocation (immediately if you disconnect inside the app).
What happens after you request
- We acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
- We complete deletion of the relevant data within 30 days — usually much sooner (token deletion is immediate on disconnect) — unless we are legally required to keep some of it (e.g. to comply with law or resolve a dispute), in which case we tell you why.
- We confirm in writing by reply email once deletion is complete, with a short, human-readable summary of what was deleted.
